- A subject-specialist background: A degree in English Language or English Literature is essential. You love your subject and know how to make books, language and writing accessible and exciting.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS): Experience teaching English at secondary level.
- An eye for individual learning styles: A recognised SEN qualification or a Level 5 qualification in Dyslexia (or equivalent) is highly desirable, though a genuine commitment to specialist training and inclusive practice is equally valued.
- Warmth and patience: You understand that building trust comes before delivering content.
Junior School Teacher (Bisley - Full-Time)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Junior School Teacher to join our team at Bisley. The successful candidate will play a key role in nurturing curiosity, confidence and a love of learning in our younger pupils, creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment where every child can thrive.
You will deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons that inspire and challenge pupils with a range of learning profiles, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs and promote academic, social and emotional development. Working closely with colleagues, therapists and families, you will help ensure that each child receives the support they need to achieve their full potential. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, a commitment to excellent pastoral care, and a genuine passion for supporting children are essential. Experience of working with pupils with special educational needs would be advantageous. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and supporting students' speech, language and communication needs through evidence-based, individualised interventions that align with EHCP outcomes. Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, families and external professionals, you will play a key role in developing inclusive strategies that enhance communication across the school environment. The role includes contributing to classroom practice, monitoring and evaluating pupil progress, delivering staff training, and managing a varied caseload. As part of our well-established therapy team, you will benefit from ongoing professional development and opportunities to further develop specialist skills within a supportive, school-based environment, making a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people with complex needs.
Occupational Therapist
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will assess, plan and deliver therapeutic interventions that support students with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties (SpLD) to develop the skills needed for successful participation in school life, including sensory processing, motor coordination, self-regulation and functional independence. Working collaboratively with teachers, learning support assistant and other professionals, you will be key in ensuring students' physical, sensory and occupational needs are understood and effectively supported within the classroom and wider school environment. The role includes contributing to individual support plans, advising on therapeutic strategies, monitoring progress and promoting inclusive practice across the school. As part of our established therapy team, you will have access to training and continuing professional development opportunities to further develop specialist expertise within a rewarding, supportive and therapeutically rich environment.

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly team at Pirbright. Our Lunchtime Supervisors have an essential role in supporting our pupils at lunchtime. If you are passionate, caring, and have good communication skills we can offer all the training and support you need.
Learning Support Assistant (Full-Time | Start ASAP)
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with a range of special educational needs to access learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential. Working closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff, you will play an important role in creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment. You will support students both within the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping them to overcome barriers to learning, develop independence and celebrate success. We are looking for someone who is patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with young people. Experience of working in an SEN, education or care setting would be advantageous, although a genuine commitment to supporting children and young people is equally important.
